From the high-altitude farms of Marcala, La Paz, this Honduran coffee combines heirloom and cultivated varieties to deliver a balanced, flavorful cup. Grown by 1,500 smallholder members of Café Organics Marcala on clay-mineral soils at 1,300–1,700 m, the beans develop pronounced sweetness and structural complexity. The fully washed, sun-dried processing preserves clarity while allowing natural sweetness to shine.
A medium-dark roast enhances caramelization and warming spice, highlighting tasting notes of caramel, spice, and brown sugar with a rounded finish. The blend of Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Lempira, and Typica varieties creates layered aromatics and a satisfying body—making it versatile for filter brewing or stovetop and espresso preparations.
